New Mexico Senior Olympics, Inc.,
WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS
NMSO is extremely fortunate to announce the addition of two very supportive Board

and experience to the team.
Kathy Black has worked with Senior Olympics since 1991. A serious athlete and avid
swimmer, Kathy began competing in Senior Olympics in 1999, she now holds the
Women's Record in four Women's Swimming events. At Nationals, Kathy managed to bring home

Bachelors from WNMU and a Masters from UNM in Science Health Education and went on to
earn a Certification in Gerontology Administration. Currently, she is the Director of the Palo
Duro Senior Center in Albuquerque, NM.
Gladie Guzman started with NMSO twelve years ago as the
Chaves County Local Coordinator. She is a past member of the Board of and we are happy to see her return. After eight years as
Event Manager for Shuffleboard Gladie is now training for her first athletic competitions for Senior Olympics in 2002.
Gladie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison,
her Masters of Education from Colorado State, Ft. Collins. She went on to receive a
Professional Certification in Parks and Recreation, CPRP and currently serves as the
Director of the Roswell Adult Center.
Welcome Kathy Black and Gladie Guzman!

New Mexico Senior Olympics would like to extend a
