Local Games Begin!

Albuquerque and Doña Ana have finished registration and begun their local games. Tularosa—Nifty After Fifty—will register on-site beginning in April. Santa Fe will also start sometime in April. If you have any questions about local games, call your local coordinator for details. Cibola County will start their Games in April but did not say when they will begin registration.

A Few Reminders:

1) Do not send your registration for State Games to the State Office. You must register through your local coordinator.

2) All Athletes have to register for State Games in their home or Local Game Site even if your partner or team is from another county. You will also have to notify your partner or team captain you need copies of the results for you Local Coordinator to show you are eligible to advance to State Games.

3) Get a registration Book. There is a lot of information in there that you will need. Please don’t settle for just a copy of the registration form. Everyone who registers for State Games should have the book when possible.

4) All Bowling Teams should have a substitute designated at the LOCAL level!

WHY?

First: Because you do not want to have a medical emergency and have to scramble for a qualified substitute at the last minute.

Second: Even if this person never plays on your team at locals they will qualify as an eligible sub for State because they are listed as a sub on your roster at local games and will be on your local results.

Third: A substitute can now be listed as a sub on more than one team at locals—this prevents delays and requires no special permission to use your listed sub if you have one; either at locals or at State.

Fourth: Just remember, if there is a situation and a sub has to step in to play, they are then classified as a player and THEY ARE NO LONGER A SUB. They can only play for one team. .
